I purchased this book after watching the Ricky Gervais show. Although the book is entertaining, it lacks something and is not as good as I expected. I think it lacks the input from Ricky Gervais and Stephen Merchant, and in my opinion falls short of the mark as, they are not there to criticize and poke fun at his comments. There are a few interesting and funny parts but nothing spectacular. Karl's way of thinking is more entertaining when he is part of a team.

Well I am a massive Pilkington fan so when i first seen a book from him I had to get it. The 2 previous books were brilliant and this one is the same. Full of the stupid and idiotic thoughts you would expect from orange shaped head of Karl. If you enjoy either his work on XFM or the podcasts he does with Ricky and Steve then you will love this book.

Really really funny book. Includes great illustrations and amusing facts throughout. If you like 'Karl's Diary' readings from the Ricky Gervais Show - You will love this book. Karl mentions everyday things but turns them into a whole new perspective, probably without even meaning to. Great buy.

I was skeptical about buying this book at first. Since I have heard the majority of the Ricky Gervais shows I thought there might be nothing to offer that I didn't already know in this book. How wrong I was.
Karlology is fantastic, from the moment I picked it up I could not put it down. References to the show are made during the book but described in so much detail. I thoroughly enjoyed the book from start to finish, and I recommend it to anyone.
I agree with Ricky Gervais in saying this man, is the funniest man alive!
