Product Description The hilariously surreal correspondence of Robin Cooper, frustrated children's author,fairy-spotter and fancy-spoon collector, in the bestselling tradition of the Henry Root letters - but with an entirely fresh perspective.

Pure brilliance! August 10, 2010 B. Folan (London, UK) Love, love, love this book! Discovered by chance in a bookshop and read all through and on many subsequent occasions. Random, hilarious and gorgeously time-wasting. Pointless endeavours, crafted expertly. Unique. Everyone should have one.

The style of writing and much of the content is a complete rip-off of the Henry Root Letters first published in 1980/81.
The funniest book I've ever read. August 6, 2010 Mr. Matthew P. Young (UK) The Book is a collection of many fantastic letters by Robin Cooper, a pseudonym of comedian Robert Popper. I bought the book and laughd solidly for a number of days whilst I read it. It was impossible to put down. I lent it to my sister who thought it was fantastic as well. Will be buying the other Timewaster books.
99% Funny-very funny July 27, 2010 J. K. Christopher (UK) I read nothing usually except instruction manuals. I usually never laugh when I read, except the time I chuckled about the mistake in an IKEA assembly instruction for a bench/chair/breakfast eatery. This book changed everything. It made me laugh a lot and I had to stop reading as I was laughing out loud so many times during an evening recital I was keeping the Dog awake which was not fair because it had a vet appointment the next morning. I have allowed close friends to borrow this item and each time it has come back in slightly worsening condition. 89% of them have agreed with me that it was funny, 10% told me it was very funny 1% told me it was a complete waste of time. I have 100 friends.
A really funny book May 19, 2010 Andrew R. Milkins (UK) I was given a copy a few years ago but subsequently lost it! It really made me laugh at the time. So much so that I had to buy another copy. The humor was simple but the ideas the author used were quite thoughtful. It still brought a smile to my face four years on and I don't hesitate to pick it up and show my friends who in turn laugh their heads off. Comic creativit at its best.
