Simon Cowell is a Genius August 3, 2010 R W Taylor What I love about this book is that Chas Newkey-Burden explores and weaves together two strands: the personal and the professional Simon Cowell. My view of Simon has always been that he's clever, that he performs a role, but that behind any outward nastiness he is a gentleman, a strong and driven individual. In reading this book, my views on Simon have been strengthened and reading the words, `I've never believed this is going to last forever' have made me like Mr Cowell even more.
A must read July 7, 2010 Mrs C (England) Brilliant Book - loved it totally.
This is a very well written and easy to read book about the life of Simon Cowell. It is very interesting and gives a brilliant insight into the man and his work. For those of you (like me) that already like Simon, this is a great book to add to your collection. For those of you that sit on the fence about Mr Cowell, this is a great book for you too. I would also recommend his autobiography "I don't mean to be rude but...". Don't criticise the man until you have read these books. The book has an added bonus of a great set of photographs.
A great gift for a Simon fan.
Really recommend it.
Good, interesting read. May 25, 2010 Mrs. J. Caunce (Lancashire, UK) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I'm really enjoying this book although the author has only gleaned his information from other, previously printed sources.

Bought the book for my brother as an extra little Christmas present and he absolutely loved it! Whether you love or hate him there is a bit in everyone that wants to how he ticks and how he made all his money!

Book was average, if it had of been written by Simon himself it would have been much better
